Job Position 1 – Tax Accountant

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: First Degree in Accounting/Accounting and finance.
Experience: 2 years relevant work experience

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review Management Reconciliation File.
  • Prepare and post journals for finance function.
  • Draft Policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor SAP Compliance.
  • Monitor Internal Audit Findings close outs.
  • Manage Balance Sheet Accounts.
  • Effect the monthly FI close procedures which initiate the close of the accounting ledger for the period in question.
  • Daily cash flow planning.(preparation of all internal and external financial reports related to treasury, cash management).

Provides advice to the Manager on all areas of cash management and investments.
Reviews the Cash Flow requirements report to ensure funds availability to meet operational requirements.
Prepare forecasts to project company cash positions in the short run and the near future
Re-values FX denominated balance sheet accounts as required for the preparation of financial statements
Reconciliations / information reported to the receiver is 100% accurate and compliant with CCBA and Statutory regulations.

Payment is made to the Receiver of Revenue by the last day of every month
Journals are completed with 100% accuracy
Reconciliation deviations are identified, reported and solved within one month of deviations being identified
Reconciliations are completed monthly and submitted timeously to  Manager for review.

Reconciliations for balance sheet accounts are conducted as per finance  policies and procedures.
Critical outstanding items on monthly balance sheet reconciliations are resolved.

Job Position 2 – Employee Relations Specialist

  • Required Qualification and Experience
  • Education: First Degree in Law (LLB) .
  • Experience: 5 years of work experience in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Corporate HR & Employee Relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
  • Previous experience working with labor unions, collective bargaining agreements, and external government bodies.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Employees Relations

Develops business-focused ER strategy and aligns execution of the ER strategy and solutions across country.
Leads and manages the Employee Relations team in country against a clear ER strategy.

Develops Employee Relations Procedures, Processes and tools.
Leads the development and implementation of integrated processes, procedures and tools across country, as appropriate.
Provides ad hoc Employee Relations advice and guidance, and serves as the ultimate escalation point for Employee Relations issues that the teams cannot resolve themselves.
Employee Relations Capability building

Implements employee relations capability in Organization and enables line effectiveness through the execution of proactive employee relations initiatives, and the delivery of targeted training programs.
Provides feedback to HR leadership on ER capabilities & needs in the business.
Agrees and manages an internal ER scorecard measuring line ER capability.<p>Collective Bargaining

Fosters a collective bargaining environment that supports the delivery of strategy, ensuring direct communication with employees.
Leads and manages the integration of Recognition Agreements in country, as appropriate, in line with strategy.
Leads and manages the integration of Substantive Agreements and conditions of employment in country, as appropriate, in line with strategy.
Timeously concludes collective bargaining agreements in support of the organization’s strategic agenda.

Employee Engagement

Builds strong, respectful relationships, based on integrity, with all designated stakeholders and employees.
Actively promotes a workplace that values diversity.
Executes ER initiatives in country, investigating and resolving issues and conflicts.
Provides a service to line managers to assist them to manage discipline.
Manages interactions with 3rd party contractors, including Attorneys, to provide specialist advice and support, in particular as it relates to Labour Court matters.
